    In 2016, Sesame Workshop (the makers of Sesame Street) conducted a national survey in the United States, quizzing parents and teachers about the concept of kindness. They were exploring something that we’ve probably all thought about at one time or another: If kindness is something society values, how come there seems to be so little of it around?

  • Announcing February's KIND WORDS Challenge

    February 17th is International Day of Random Acts of Kindness and the world certainly seems to need plenty of those right now. We want to encourage our kids to show love, kindness and respect to all and the Kindness Elves have a lovely idea for encouraging this in the coming month, using JUST our words! The challenge will be to use our written and spoken words to focus on building each other up, letting people know how much we value them and how grateful we are. There's a magical power in words!
  • 12 Days of Christmas Kindness: Day 2

    On day 2 our kindness Elves have suggested that we start to fill a box with food and toiletries to drop off at the local food bank. We are fortunate in that we have one just 5 minutes from our home so it is a place we can take things to easily.
