My most popular No-Cook Play Dough recipe that has been searched for and pinned on Pinterest multiple-millions of times!
There's a reason it's the World's favourite! And I am giving it to you in a super-easy-to-save-and-print format today so that you can stick it on the fridge and use it often!
2 cups plain flour
1/2 cup fine salt
2 tablespoons cream of tartar
1/2 cup boiling water
gel food colouring or natural dye
few drops of vegetable glycerine (optional for shine!)
mix all the dry ingredients, then add the oil and stir.
add gel food colouring or natural dye to the boiling water if you want the play dough to be dyed, then carefully add this to get dry ingredients
mix well, leave to cool for a few minutes and then knead until soft and non-sticky
add few drops glycerine for extra stretch and shine!
The sky is the limit with ways to play and learn using play dough! You can add natural loose parts, e.g. pine cones, sticks and flowers. You can try glass gems, buttons, bottle tops, lolly sticks and cutters! You could push in letters or numbers, make cakes and add candles, or hide items inside to find!
You could even add natural scents using fruit tea or essential oils added to the oil! Enjoy!
